Pulling the weeds in my mind, I cultivate the New Earth

I was sitting on a conference call this morning that a friend of mine had organized called "Call for the Earth". She is an amazing woman that has committed her whole life to supporting the reforestation of the rainforest. This call had other Earth activist who shared there stories of how they became inspired to use their passion and love for the Earth and put it into action. As I was listening to one woman share her passion around the elimination of using plastic water bottles and all the ways we are destroying the planet, at that momentI started to recognize the insidious weed of guilt that began to grow in my mind, as I tuned in and felt my Joy meter I felt my energy had completely dropped with a simple thought of" I am not doing enough", and then the weed of shame started to take root. In that moment I asked what can I do right now that would bring me joy and serve the Earth. Ahh yes my garden, as I watered it earlier that morning I had a judgment arise that I had greatly neglected it and it had once again been taken over by the monstrous crab grass. I had seen my garden as another reflection of hopelessness of ever winning the battle of the Crab. I choose to see through a new lens and see each weed as a judgement or a negative thought and as I pulled each weed i did HoPonoPono(sp) a forgiveness practice in which you say"I am so sorry , Please forgive me, I love you, thank you". I used this as my mantra as I pulled the weeds of thought from the soil of my mind.As I turned over the soil I saw new life , fresh new soil turned up to receive the sun, to receive the seeds of the new that where not being choked by the weeds of the mind. I started singing the song "I am so Blessed" and my Joy started to flow and the plants began to grow.
This is my gift to Mother Earth to love and forgive myself and fertilize her soil with my Joy.
My gift is my gratitude for all she gives to me so freely.
My gift to Mother Earth is my Love!

As I see Heaven Here Now it is so!
